From Sunday to Monday is brought to you by WorkMatters, a not-for-profit ministry based in northwest Arkansas. We are committed to helping men and women in the marketplace to bridge the gap between their work and faith. Our desire is to share thoughts, ideas, and musings centered around what living one’s faith in the workplace could look like, as well as commenting on other things that come up and how they might relate to living our your faith more effectively at work.
We especially want to challenge Sunday Christians to get off the sidelines and take a stand for Christ where they work. From Sunday to Monday is about helping to equip and train believers who want to be more intentional regarding living out their faith throughout the entire week. We strongly invite you to participate in the conversation by posting your comments! Hopefully, this blog will provide a place where thoughts and ideas can be shared. Our goal is for people to find life impacting value from this conversation. To take new strength and find encouragement from these writings.
We invite you to subscribe to this blog and share your comments. This is not intended as a one-way communication vehicle, but as a way to hear from you as well.
Main contributors to the blog will be:
David Roth, President of WorkMatters
Sam Bates, Vice President of WorkMatters
We also plan to invite guest authors to share their thoughts from time-to-time.
You can learn more about Sam and David in our Author’s pages.
Considering what we might consider:
1. Our inability to speak about religion at work, and lots of other places. Sometimes it even seems improper to talk about religion in Sunday school!
2. So, how do we overcome this? To what extent can we? Is there anything we should do – ought to do – to loosen it up?
3. We are up against schedules and agendas, and against the “hurt feelings” of others, which often seem to be preposterous claims. Some people seem to use that merely to assert themselves.
4. How can we really assert what is right, without going wrong?
