Are you on the front lines in your work or do you support those who are? Often times, those on the front lines get the headlines and the rewards when business is good. But who helped them succeed?

I am amazed at the business truths available to us in the Bible. Of course I shouldn’t be amazed, but for some reason we often turn to other resources to show us the way.

Here is a simple example for you this morning  from an incredible leader and man of God…King David. 

“David replied, “No, my brothers, you must not do that with what the LORD has given us. He has protected us and handed over to us the forces that came against us. Who will listen to what you say? The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike.” David made this a statute and ordinance for Israel from that day to this.”   1Samuel 30:23-25

If you are on the front lines, spend some time thinking about those that are helping you do your work with excellence. If you are in a support role, thank you! Your role may be less glamorous, but you are vital to the success of the organization.
