I received an email just before our Leadership Conference from a Radio station that wanted to do a WorkMatters interview. Not knowing who they were or where they were located, I quickly asked if we could schedule it for a couple of weeks later.

After the dust settled from the conference, we reconnected. When I asked Julie how many listeners they had I almost spit out my coffee. She said rather casually…”5 million people”. KLOVE and Air1, the two stations that played the interview, have over 500 stations across the US. The “5 million people” does not include their website traffic and the people around the world that would listen to our podcasted interview.

I love those opportunities because it involves the mysteries of God. Who will hear that interview and how might their lives change as a result? That is my prayer and that is why I always say yes to the opportunity to talk about the life-changing power of bridging the gap between faith and work.
